It’s December 30th and I’m feeling, like most of you, a tad reflective. 2015 was an amazing year filled with ups and downs, wins and loses.
I should have know it would be, as the desire I wanted most in 2015 was “Dynamic”. Boy, be careful what you wish for, huh!! It was DYNAMIC alright.
Everyone has a different ritual (or no ritual at all) for this time of year. There certainly is no right or wrong way of reflecting and setting new intentions/goals/whatever-you-call-them.
Some people pick a word, or a phrase to carry them forward. Some make a long list of accomplishments they would like to do by the end of the new year. Others simply hope for the best.
This year, I’m doing a few things. One, I’m picking a new word. Magic. I want lots of magic in my life in 2016. I recently discovered the woo-woo world of law of attraction and am finding magic in everything now. Second, I’m going to make a tiny list of things I want to make sure to do this year so that at this time next year, I can easily see that I accomplished the most important stuff. I made a fancy PDF if you’d like to join me in this little exercise. Click on the photo to be taken to the pdf, no opt-in required. It’s my new year’s gift to you.
New Year’s holds a special place in my heart for many reasons, and one of them is that I got married on New Year’s Eve. My husband and I celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary this year and although it seems like we’ve been married forever, it also feels like we just met. My business life feels a little like that, too, these days. I am so, so grateful to be working with such amazing women while they start and grow their businesses. How did I get to be so lucky?
You’re in my thoughts this new year, and I can’t wait to see what you come up with in 2016. If you’d like, comment below and let me know what your intentions/goals/wishes/desires are for then new year!
